India's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki launched New Ritz diesel starting at Rs 5.31 lakh, New ZDi top end model also launched, Features, Colors, Higher Fuel efficiency
Maruti Suzuki claims the new Ritz Diesel would give 10% higher milage at 23.2 km per litre. The engineers at Maruti were able to achieve this fuel efficiency with calibration optimization and by reducing losses in the engine due to friction, without altering the 75PS and 190Nm power and torque figures respectively.
Company has also made 52 changes such as new front design, new dual tone interiors, multi-information display on instrument panel, new audio system with USB, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors, body side moulding amongst others.
For the first time, the company has also introduced an all new ZDi variant at Rs 6.23 lakh in the Ritz Diesel with top of the line features such as Alloy Wheels, Dual Front Air Bags and steering audio controls.
