Story Overview

Kajal Sharma is a bar dancer in mumbai but basically from Jammu. She is a ambitious girl who wants to become an actress in bollywood and against her family's decision she left jammu. Her elder sister Soniya also lives in mumbai and she works as a call center employee. Kajal's parent at jammu does not know about her profession. This is a hidden truth between Kajal, her sister and brother.

In the bar, she meets Pankaj Gargil and they falls in love with each other. Then suddenly a mid night a shopkeeper near Kajal's flat hears some voices of Kajal. He calls police and after breaking the door, police found Kajal's dead body.

External Affairs Minister SM Krishna will visit Pakistan for three days from September 7 to review the last round of the bilateral dialogue process with his Pakistani counterpart Hina Rabbani Khar, the Foreign Office announced on Friday.

Krishna will be visiting Pakistan for "holding a review meeting with the Foreign Minister at her invitation", the Foreign Office said in a brief statement.

The talks between the two Foreign Ministers will be held in Islamabad on September 8.

The talks between the ministers will be preceded by a meeting of the Foreign Secretaries of the two countries on September 7.

A gunman firing in shopping plaza was shot dead by  New Jersey Police.  According to the source police responded to shots fired inside the Pathmark supermarket on Route 9 in Old Bridge, New Jersey. There was a confrontation with the gunman, according to WABC-TV.

Eyewitnesses say he was wearing a body armor, but no confirmations on that yet. It is also believed he took a few people hostage. Police have confirmed that three people were killed, including the gunman. The area has now been secured.

Security solutions provider McAfee today launched a new free application 'McAfee Social Protection' to help users protect their photos from being shared without their permission on social networking site Facebook.

The application lets users select which friends have access to their photos and makes pictures appear blurry to everyone else, McAfee said in a statement.

For selected friends, the photos will be displayed properly once those friends have installed the app, creating a second layer of protection, it added.

Also friends, who have been granted access to view photos, will not be able to share, copy, print or take screenshots of them.

"As consumers continue to share more of their lives online through the photos they post to Facebook, they become increasingly vulnerable to the privacy pitfalls associated with not being able to fully control where their photos end up," McAfee Senior Vice-President (Consumer Product Management) Brian Foster said.

The helicopter was crashed when it was trying to land at a local college today, police officials said.

The helicopter some how lost his balance from considerable height whill trying to land in Godhra Science College.

Bapu and the pilot had to be taken out after breaking the glass. They were rushed for treatment to a nearby Ashram hospital, officials said.

Seeking to make it easier to book e-tickets, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has decided to launch a scheme allowing passengers to reserve seats against advance money kept with the corporation.

"We have decided to launch Rolling Deposit Scheme (RDS), a hassle-free e-ticket booking scheme in which the user will be able to book e-tickets against advance money kept with us," said a senior IRCTC official involved with the scheme.

Currently there are about 4.5 lakh train tickets booked daily through IRCTC website.

Under the Rolling Deposit Scheme, a user can deposit money in advance with IRCTC and use it as a payment option amongst the other payment options available on IRCTC website for paying money at the time of booking tickets.

"It will reduce the payment gateway time for the user as money will be deducted from the IRCTC and not from any bank as is the current practice, he said adding "there are about 10 per cent failure in e-ticket booking due to the banking server problem."

Besides IRCTC will also not levy the payment gateway charge for booking e-ticket through RDS.

He said one can join the RDS with a minimum amount of Rs 1500 also.

User can manage his account online and also top-up online. He can transfer the money from his bank account to IRCTC account and book tickets using that RDS account.

HCL Infosystems’ stock jumped 18 per cent on the BSE on Tuesday on reports of Lenovo buying the company promoter’s 51 per cent stake at around Rs 500 crore.

The scrip rose to Rs 42.90 from the previous close of Rs 36.35.

Both companies, however, are not commenting on this development saying: “We do not comment on market rumours and speculation.”

“In compliance with corporate governance practices, HCL Infosystems informs the stock exchanges regarding any material price sensitive information,” the company said.

“We are not aware of any such development about promoter intending to sell stake in the company and as a company policy we do not comment on market speculation,” it added.

ITC Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division (PSPD)’s proposed expansion plans are likely to take six more months to fructify.

The company proposed to expand its capacity from 5 lakh tonnes to one million tonnes with an investment of close to Rs.3,500 crore. The expansion project has found place in the list of projects looked into by the Prime Minister’s Office for addressing hurdles in their implementation.

According to ITC PSPD division chief executive Sanjay K. Singh, the company sought 1,000 acres, a portion of it forest land, for taking up the project and the government had expressed willingness to give 800 acres.

Mukherjee's face was disfigured forever in 2003, when she was just 17 years old, by intruders who broke into her home in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.Her assailants poured the acid over her while she was sleeping

Nine years later, after having received no money or assistance from the state, the desperate woman says that if the government will not help her then she may decide to end her life.She is blind in both eyes and has no right ear, her treatment is taking its toll on her family's limited finances - and her attackers are out on bail.

The three accused, named as Tapas Mitra, Sanjay Paswan, and Brahmadev Hajra were sent to jail based on Sonali's complaint.

The youngest of the three men was let off on account of his being a juvenile, while the other two were convicted and sentenced by the district court in 2006 to nine year jail.

However, they appealed in the high court, which granted them bail.

With no help from government, Sonali now wants to die and has demanded euthanasia as she cannot afford her medical costs.

The popular Veteran actor Avtar Kishan Hangal who was recently had been admitted to the hospital in a critical condition died at the age of 95. Born on February 1, 1917.

AK Hangal was better known as Imam Chacha or Bipinlal Pandey, immortal characters he played in films such as ‘Sholay’ and ‘Namak Haraam’.

Hangal, who had been in and out of hospital since the last few years, suffered from several ailments including tuberculosis, high blood pressure and kidney dysfunction. Doctors attending to him felt that he needed to be operated on but considering his advanced age it was decided that he was not fit for surgery.

Hangal had started with Basu Bhattacharya’s ‘Teesri Kasam’ in 1966 and went on to portray different shades of the old age in countless number of films. He got featured in a number of roles on the small screen also. Recently, he was seen as a guest character in ‘Madhubala’.

Sonali Mukherjee, 27, met Munda in Ranchi . Munda heard her grief and assured all possible help. He also assured her that he would ensure justice.

The advocate general has been asked to expedite the case in Jharkhand High Court. Sonali was fast asleep on the terrace of her house in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, on the night of April 22, 2003, when she felt the burning liquid splashed on her melting away the flesh on her face, neck, the right part of her chest and lower torso.

The three accused, named as Tapas Mitra, Sanjay Paswan, and Brahmadev Hajra were sent to jail based on Sonali's complaint.

The youngest of the three men was let off on account of his being a juvenile, while the other two were convicted and sentenced by the district court in 2006 to nine year jail.

However, they appealed in the high court, which granted them bail.

Disheartened, she demanded euthanasia as her family found it hard to cope with her medical bills. "Either give me justice or let me die," she had said.

HDFC MF launches “HDFC FMP 371D, NFO opens on August 23 and closes on August 28, Maturity time of 371 days

HDFC Mutual Fund launched a new close ended income scheme named “HDFC FMP 371D July 2012 (3),” with maturity time of 371 days.

The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme was Rs 10 per unit. NFO opened for subscription on July 20 and will close on July 31, 2012.

The minimum application amount was Rs 5, 000 and in multiple of Rs 10 thereafter. The two options were available under the Plan of the Scheme viz. Growth and Dividend option only.

The performance of the scheme will be standardized against Crisil Short Term Bond Fund Index and Bharat Pareek will be the Fund Manager of the scheme.
