The Paraguayan javelin thrower grabbed global attention at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and though she didn't do well in her event, Leryn Franco's beauty sent men across the world into a frenzy. At the 2012 London Olympic Games, Franco may have finished 34th in a field of 42 javelin throwers, but she leaves again as one of the Games' more beautiful faces.

    

Leryn Franco failed to qualify for the final of the javelin throw at the 2012 London Olympic Games by a long distance, as her longest throw of 51.45 metres saw her finish 34th in the 42-strong field.
